How do multi-fandom people do it? I'm used to focusing on one fandom at a time. When I like a thing I'm usually locked in for several years. Deader the fandom, the more "in" I am since I have to provide for myself. Now I'm feeling torn apart being interested in several things and I have different commitments to do now too.
How do mutli-taskers do it? I couldn't sleep well last night because I was rotating between things to try in GBVSR and what little LanVane lore I knew. I wrote the draft of my first LanVane fic for Friday. (I haven't even finished rereading the side stories at GBF and I had to bang out a little blurb that I'm sure already exists and done better if I went looking.) I'm having fun learning GBVSR and fighting games in general. I originally started this year deciding to draw a LukeKen book, but now I have 20 pages of FKMT-related comics to do first. I still want to move on with my Draw a Box lessons. And I still enjoy RyuKen! But I don't have the headspace for all of this.
To try to give myself advice, I can shelve the things I can't do now away and not worry about them until other things are done. If I stay consistent and work on the FKMT stuff I can be done before it's deadline. In my not-deadline time, I can get LanVane out of my system before I work on the LukeKen book. Yes, yes.
