Fighting game is something so great!!

Capcom Cup was fantastic, so worth ruining my sleep for a couple of days! I did pass out after top 8 started but thankfully I shook awake when grand finals hit and what a suprise: it was Kakeru and the 15 year old Ryu prodigy Blaz! Though Blaz couldn't reset it, he did so much better than their first match together. Kakeru won and I'm happy for him but seeing new faces pop out thanks to Capcom Cup also makes me giddy.

This month is packed with so many events, I'm super excited about RFN x Sajam Slam event next week. Then Arc World Tour Finals shortly after! I can't wait to see how GBVSR will be.

I'll spend today watching the top players analyze the games while practicing in GBVSR. I want to have a better understanding of what I'm doing so I can enjoy watching these games I love even more. I'm enthralled I can play comfortably now with the new controller. Maybe a little too enthralled. I completely forgot about drawing an illo for Fanfic Friday yesterday. To be fair, I've been running on fumes thanks to bad sleep, watching CC in the mornings at full attention too. I couldn't think of the proper mood for an image anyway. It's a weird moment between Luke and Ken that I wanted to get out.
