Heads up: I'm trying to add tags to my posts! I'm still figuring out how to make tagged posts appear on it's own page. I apologize for the mess!

I write my daily blog posts the same day they're posted, it's been this way since I started. I've been thinking it'd be so nice to have a few days written ahead of time; but when I try to write a day ahead I can't think of anything.

The power of the imminent deadline is a helluva thing. I swear that's the only way my brain pops out ideas or motivated to finish anything. It's a panic run to the end: submitting to anthologies or my own books a day or hours before the deadline. Thankfully blog posts don't have to be too long or overly edited. I see them as organized brain dumps. But why can't I brainstorm ideas earlier?

I'll talk about it later in detail, but I realized I leave my afternoons open for watching stuff like my usual streams. My drawings don't take up all day so why not finish or start some things in the afternoon too?

But hey, I'm writing this the day before it's posted. I finished the first draft of Friday's fanfic too. I'll thumbnail the next two illustrations tonight as well. I'm fearful this will be a blip and I'll be back to rushing to get something out before dinner before long, but dang it, I'll give this a shot.
